Official Jim Corbett National Park safari permits (Jeep & Canter) are issued by the Uttarakhand Forest Department against individual government IDs. Under statutory rules, safari permits once generated are 100% non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-adjustable under any circumstances.

2. Resort & Hotel Accommodation Cancellation
Partner hotel and jungle lodge bookings follow the standard hospitality schedule (excluding peak blackout dates):
- 30 Days or More Prior to Check-in: 90% Refund of the hotel portion (10% retained for banking & administrative processing).
- 15 to 29 Days Prior to Check-in: 50% Refund of the total resort booking value.
- Less than 14 Days Prior to Check-in or No-Show: 100% Retention (No Refund).
- Peak Festive Season Blackout Dates: Bookings for Diwali week, Christmas week (22 Dec - 2 Jan), and long holiday weekends are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.
3. Car Rental & Outstation Cab Cancellations
- More than 24 Hours Notice: Full refund of advance cab booking charges.
- Less than 24 Hours Notice: One-day minimum tariff / driver dispatch retention fee.
4. Weather Conditions & Force Majeure Closures
During monsoons or sudden high water levels in the Kosi or Ramganga rivers, forest authorities may temporarily shutter specific safari tracks for visitor safety:
- If a safari shift is cancelled officially by the Forest Department directorate, we will make every effort to assist in rescheduling your permit to an alternative open zone, subject to forest authority approvals.
- Corbett Wild Holidays cannot be held financially liable for statutory weather closures or road blockages beyond our operational control.
5. Refund Processing Timeline
Eligible refunds are processed back to the original source bank account or payment method within 7 to 10 working days following formal written cancellation confirmation.
